15 questions people ask AI before choosing a coworking space, and what answers them

I took the 15 real questions founders ask an AI before choosing a coworking space and checked them against 15 real brand homepages.

Founders, freelancers, and small teams increasingly ask an AI assistant before they ever call a coworking space or book a tour. They want to know the price per desk, whether a day pass exists, which locations are covered, before they talk to a human at all.

I took the same 15 Indian coworking and flexible workspace homepages I scanned for my AI readability study and mapped them against 15 real questions people ask an AI before choosing a space. For each one, I looked at whether the information exists on the homepage in a form an AI assistant could actually lift and answer with.

The 15 questions, and the fix for each

How much does a hot desk cost per month at this coworking space?

State the hot desk or per-desk monthly price directly on the homepage, in rupees, instead of behind a request-a-quote form.

If the price is not on the page, an AI cannot quote it.

What does a private cabin or dedicated team room cost?

List private cabin and team room pricing, or a clear starting price, alongside the hot desk rate, not on a separate hidden page.

Cabin pricing hidden behind a form is invisible to an AI answer.

Which cities and areas does this coworking brand have centres in?

Publish a plain-text list of cities and localities on the homepage, not just a map widget an AI cannot read.

A map is not text an AI can quote back.

Is a day pass available, and how much does it cost?

Add a day-pass line item with its price, even if it just says day pass available, contact for rate.

Day-pass buyers decide fast, give the AI a fast answer.

Can I book a meeting room by the hour, and what does it cost?

Publish an hourly meeting room rate or rate range instead of only enquire for meeting room pricing.

Hourly bookers want a number, not a callback.

Does this space offer 24x7 access?

State access hours explicitly on the homepage: 24x7, business hours only, or extended hours with a cutoff time.

Access hours are a yes-or-no fact an AI should not have to guess.

What is the internet speed, and is there power backup?

State internet speed, or a minimum guarantee, and power backup availability as plain facts, not buried in an amenities image.

Technical specs in an image are invisible to an AI reading the page.

Is parking available at this location?

Say plainly whether parking is available, and whether it is free, paid, or valet, per location if it varies.

A one-line parking answer saves a phone call.

Can I get a virtual office or GST registration address here?

Call out virtual office and GST registration address service explicitly if you offer it, it is a specific, high-intent search.

GST address seekers search for this exact phrase.

What amenities are included: cafe, printing, phone booths?

List amenities as plain text bullets, not only as icons or a photo gallery an AI cannot parse.

Icons look nice, only text answers questions.

What is the minimum lock-in period or notice period?

State the minimum contract length or notice period directly, this is one of the first things a switching customer asks.

Lock-in terms hidden in a PDF are invisible to an AI.

Is this space suitable for a team of 10, or 20, or 50 people?

Mention team size ranges you cater to, dedicated desks, private floors, team rooms, so an AI can match intent to capacity.

Team size is a filtering question, answer it upfront.

Does this coworking brand run a community or events programme?

Describe your community or events programme in a sentence or two on the homepage, not only on a separate blog nobody indexes.

Community is a real differentiator, if it is written down.

Can I get a free trial day or tour before signing up?

State clearly whether a free trial day, tour, or walk-in visit is available, and how to book one.

A free-trial answer removes the biggest hesitation before a visit.

Is weekend or night access included?

Specify weekend and night access separately from standard business hours, since these often cost extra or need approval.

Weekend access is a different question from 24x7, answer both.

What I found scanning 15 coworking space sites

Scanning the same 15 sites for AI readability gave a median score of 87, a tight, competent cluster with no failing grades at all.

Structured data is nearly universal here, 14 of the 15 homepages publish it, so unlike most verticals I scan, it is not the dividing line. FAQ schema, present on only 2 of the 15, is the gap that would actually let an AI answer the questions above directly from the page.

The pattern under all 15

The brands that answer these questions well state them in structured, plain text: a per-desk price, a day-pass cost, a list of locations, a meeting-room rate, right there on the homepage or one click away.

The ones that miss ask you to request a callback or fill out a form instead. That works fine for a human visitor with time to wait. It does not work for an AI assistant, which cannot fill out a form or wait for a callback on a user's behalf.

Frequently asked questions

Do people really ask AI assistants about coworking spaces before contacting one?

Increasingly yes, especially founders and small teams comparing several spaces at once. They ask for price, location, and availability first, and only contact the ones that already look like a fit.

What is the single most common gap that stops an AI from answering these questions?

Information that exists only in a photo, an icon, a PDF, or behind a contact form. An AI assistant reads text on the page. If the price or the access hours are not written in plain text, the AI cannot answer with them.

Does having a lot of information on the page guarantee an AI can use it?

No. It has to be in a form the page's structure exposes clearly, plain text, a clear heading, ideally FAQ schema, not just present somewhere in a gallery or a PDF brochure.

How does this list relate to the separate AI readability scan of the same 15 sites?

The scan measured whether the page is technically readable by an AI engine, things like structured data and heading structure. This list checks whether the specific facts a buyer needs, price, location, access, are actually present in that readable text. A page can be technically readable and still miss half these answers.
