I scanned 18 Indian homeopathy clinics for AI visibility
I scanned 18 Indian homeopathy clinic homepages for AI readability and found a two-tier field: a median score of 86 hides a split between clinics with structured data and clinics without it.
On 5 August 2026 I ran 18 Indian homeopathy clinic homepages through my public AI readability scoring engine, the same engine behind the free Report Card tool. I scanned homepages only, and I am reporting the results anonymously and in aggregate: no clinic is named here. The headline number looks good on its own. Median score 86 out of 100, and 10 of the 18 sites grade an A. But the mean is only 77.8, and the range runs from 48 to 99, which means the median is hiding two very different groups of clinics rather than describing one typical clinic. Once I separated the sites that publish structured data from the ones that do not, the two groups became obvious, and the gap between them was bigger than in most verticals I have scanned.
A Two-Tier Field, Not a Typical One
Across the 18 sites, the median score is 86 and the mean is 77.8. That gap between median and mean is the first sign something is off. The range runs from 48 to 99: the best site in the sample scored 99, not a perfect 100, and the worst scored 48. On grades, 10 of the 18 sites earned an A (85 or above), 2 earned a B, 4 earned a C, and 2 earned a D. Nobody in this sample failed outright: zero sites scored an F.
The shape is top-heavy with a real low tail, not a smooth spread. More than half the sample clears the A bar, and then scores drop off hard into the C and D range for a smaller group that never recovers. It would be tempting to guess that the strong cluster is made up of larger clinic chains and the weak cluster of small independent practices, but I have no verified breakdown of which clinics in this sample are chains and which are single practices, so I am not making that claim. The only split I can stand behind, because I can see it directly in the data, is the one built around a single technical signal: whether a site publishes structured data.
Structured Data Is the Dividing Line
11 of the 18 clinics publish JSON-LD structured data on their homepage, and that group has a median score of 92. The 7 clinics without it scored 48, 49, 56, 59, 61, 67 and 71, for a median of 59. That is a 33 point gap tied to one signal on the page. And 7 of 18 missing structured data entirely is a striking share, close to 40 percent of the vertical, larger than the gap I have seen in most other verticals I have scanned.
Structured data is how a page tells an AI answer engine what it is looking at in a format the engine does not have to guess at: this is a clinic, here is the specialty, here is the address, here is the doctor's qualification. Without it, an AI engine has to infer the same facts from paragraphs of marketing copy, testimonials and photo captions, and it often infers wrong or skips the page entirely in favor of a competitor that made the facts explicit. A clinic can have a beautifully written homepage and still score low here, because the score is measuring whether the facts are machine readable, not whether the writing is good.
The FAQ Gap in a Question-Driven Field
Only 2 of the 18 clinics have FAQ schema on their homepage. A single clear H1 heading, the most basic on-page signal there is, is present on just 11 of the 18.
That gap matters more in homeopathy than in most fields, because homeopathy is one of the most question-driven categories in medicine. Patients are not just asking which clinic is nearby. They are asking does homeopathy actually work for hair loss or thyroid or PCOS, is it safe for children, how long before I see results, can I take it alongside my regular allopathic medicine. FAQ schema is the format built specifically to hand an AI engine exactly those questions and answers in a structure it can lift directly into a response.
Put plainly: the field most defined by patient questions is the one least set up to answer them to an AI. 16 of the 18 clinics in this sample are leaving that format on the table entirely.

Method and limits
This scan covered 18 real Indian homeopathy clinic homepages, checked live on 5 August 2026 with my public AI readability scoring engine, the same one behind the free Report Card tool. I scanned homepages only, and I am reporting results anonymously and in aggregate: no clinic is identified. The sample skews toward clinics that are already more visible online and likely toward larger chains, since those are easier to find and scan in the first place, which means the long tail of small independent practices not in this sample likely scores lower, not higher.
